Gameplay & Features
You’re always on the move and can’t stop. Use your hips and shoulders to steer on the path. Overcome obstacles and clear out enemies with trusty katanas and pair of pistols
- Unique natural flow locomotion: Inspired by the “Jinba Ittai” philosophy, this system ensures perfect unity between player and the game — you simply act as you would in real life
- Combat dance, ie irl skill growth: As you progress, you’ll develop your own unique moves and combos crafted by your skill, not premade by the developers
- Platformer x Runner: First-person platforming adventure inspired by a certain blue hedgehog. Intense combat, adrenaline-pumping jumps and jet-powered flights
- 2 styles of playthrough: Complete the game using parkour & movement skills or by getting max kills. 40+ levels
- Level editor for community based challenges
- Comfort / Motion sickness tested 85% of players experienced no symptoms, 10% adapted after 30 minutes, and 5% did not adjust and we prefer not to talk about them
- Level reassembly: Each time you load a level, it’s generated in a new and unique way

What is Void Ninja?
Void Ninja is a first-person VR action platformer that blends runner elements with a unique “Jinba Ittai” locomotion. You are always on the move: steer with your hips and shoulders, overcome obstacles and clear out enemies with katanas and a pair of pistols.
Which VR headsets does Void Ninja support?
On the Meta Quest store: Meta Quest 3S, Meta Quest 3, Meta Quest Pro, Meta Quest 2 and Meta Quest. On Steam it is a VR-only Windows game for SteamVR with Oculus Touch / HTC Vive controllers or better.
Is there a free demo?
Yes. Void Ninja Demo is available on the Meta Quest store with 4 demo levels (17 extra levels are available in the paid supporter version), and a Void Ninja Demo can be downloaded on Steam.
When is Void Ninja coming to Steam?
Void Ninja is coming soon to Steam Early Access. Add it to your Steam wishlist to get notified when it becomes available.
Does Void Ninja cause motion sickness?
Comfort was tested with players: 85% experienced no symptoms, 10% adapted after 30 minutes, and 5% did not adjust. The Meta Quest store lists the comfort level as Moderate.
How do the controls work?
Just one button — let your body do the rest. Natural body movements and gestures cover 95% of the controls, so there are no long button combinations to remember (rarely it is 2 buttons, but you won’t confuse them).
Do I need a big play space or an internet connection?
Void Ninja supports standing and roomscale play, and the Meta Quest version does not require an internet connection.
How can I give feedback or follow development?
